We saw Agatha Christie's "The Unexpected Guest" last night (mystery theatre), quite good, yet might I add that I guessed correctly whodunnit! Yay for me. I'm familiar with how she develops characters, so look out for the person(s) who can be very opposite from who they seem on the surface.

Prior to that, we had dinner at Joey Tomato's, which is essentially a place where the waitresses wear the most provocative outfits they can get away with without it being illegal for a public restaurant. Our waitress was nice, it was cute how timid she was: She would slowly creep up on our table, afraid to disturb us. Then we went for bubble tea before the show. Let me say that Chinese drinks are the best!

Quote of the Evening
Angie: "Why is there a loonie on my jacket?"

Can I say how sweet it is to have so many people come up to ask me, from all sorts/walks of life, from all over the world and here in Calgary: "so how is E doing, did she email you back yet?" I feel so loved right now! btw, the answer is no, not yet. remember: "you can run, you can hide, but you can't escape my love." Am I nuts? Hee hee, absolutely not!

I actually watched American Idol last night. I had vowed never to watch any of these sorts of shows... oops, messed up there! Speaking of competition, there's an intense battle going on over at Denden. Battle for mod positions in 5 different timezones. Thank goodness I'm an Admin and can therefore flaunt my power can sit aside and just watch.

My friend NikkiMac reminded me and my friends to "love passionately". She recently lost 2 friends from high school due to a few silly accidents, and she's only 19 years old. Thanks for the reminder, Nikki. Take heed everyone.

I wanted to say that I came across a most wonderful passage in the Bible about beauty, the beauty of women specifically. It's from 1 Peter 3:3 and it goes:

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment,
such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.
Instead, it should be that of your inner self,
the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit,
which is of great worth in God's sight.

I know many people don't believe in the Bible (and that's okay with me as it's your own personal journey), but it's still so refreshing to find such statements in such an old book!! :-) On the record, I do believe the Bible.

Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit just notched several checkmarks in my book. Click here to read his thoughts about the talented, beautiful, and uber-caring Angelina Jolie. Right said Fred! :-)

A long time ago, a female friend of mine and I agreed that sometimes gay guys are the cutest guys around! And they *are* easier to chat with than straight guys, usually. Is it true that gay guys have Oscar parties?

Some friends and I were having a discussion on whether it's easier to be a gay guy or gay girl. People said that it's easier to be a gay girl because sometimes people like to see 2 girls kiss whereas people are just disgusted by 2 men kissing. I personally think this is only true for the feminine types (as in men like to see 2 feminine girls kiss). Obviously, it's difficult for both sexes...

It was therapeutic today to type up a recipe for "spicy tea eggs" and a Bible passage for a lady friend of mine who's daughter is getting married. The best to Jennifer and Ryan!

A new mp3 of the week has been posted. It's Enigma's "Return to Innocence". Thanks to Astro for reminding me of this song! Click here to download. Some of the words are quite inspiring.

I've been doing a bit of net-stalking lately, hee hee. It's amazing what you can find out about people with a bit of ingenuity. ;-)

I'm soooo looking forward to Dee's guest post! She's a hella-sexy mini-cabbie. Thanks for taking such good care of me while I was in London, Dee.

Oh, and for a hella-funny video about driving, click here. This was found by a fellow cowgal, NikkiMac! It's totally a vid that fits my sense of humor.

Finally, I've been going through some emotional changes lately. Bring em' on, baby! I'm pumped about experiencing a true connection with others, and it's such a turn-on to share real honest conversations with people. Society is too much about having "fake" conversations such as "how are you?" "good" "oh, that's good" and so on. If only people would take the time to truly listen to others and truly say how they feel. If you are having a fucked-up day, just say so. If you are feeling vulnerable, admit it. If you have feelings for another person, tell them. Actually, be careful with this one! I'd love to be able to tell a certain person how I feel about her, but erm, she just might die of shock and perhaps an overblown ego. :-)

So Meim suggested today that E may be suffering from the 'Derek Kivi syndrome' (DKS)!

I wish people could be more free and honest with each other, instead of hiding behind societal norms of communication.

Here's a pic of an absolutely gorgeous woman (Angelina Jolie):

And here's a pic of a gorgeous man (David Beckham):

I don't know how many people read this board, drop me a note if you do.

Oh, and I just found out about Erika giving birth to her first child, I am so pumped for her and her family! Their new baby girl is named Tristan Helena. (For those of you who know her, this is Erika Trost from high school). If you're from Queen E, let me know and I'll give you the URL for her baby's web site.

At the request of the people at Babble, I'm posting an MP3 of the week. This week is Escape by Enrique. It was used by a fellow choreographer in Dance Montage and has stuck in my head ever since. Despite being a bit of cheese, it totally reminds me of love. The painful kind of love, where you long for someone or long for someone you want back, and even if they don't want you, you and them still can't take away the things you've been through before. This songs gives me hope and makes me sad at the same time. So there you go, enjoy.

Sean Biggerstaff is ceeeee-a-yute!!

I'm getting sick of Melanie C's one-finger salutes.

I fucking love acting. Connecting with another person downright rocks, yo. I think Eminem is having an effect on me.

Finally, Denden fucking rules. It's a place where I've met some hella-interesting people, people that remind me every day that life is about friendships, love, and partying. It is hella-hype.

Boo-ya!
