The corniche is about 8km strip overlooking the gulf it is absolutely beautiful. There is a separate beach just for ladies to relax being that it is a Muslim country. Before I came here a lot of people were worried that this was not a good move for me because females are supposedly treated like 2nd class citizens, infact someone actually used the words "no better than a dog". This could not be any farther from the truth woman are considered like princesses and it is extremely safe here for woman crime particularly does not exist the only biggest problems are motor vehicle accidents in fact Abu Dhabi I read has the highest motor vehicle accidents in the world.
Performers do not play here, but I did hear that Sting might be coming to play but no definite dates as of yet let him know people are really enjoying his Desert Rose song they love it here. Anyways I hope this is some information for you to ponder.
